How often do I have to clean my Condenser and/or Evaporator coil units?
Condenser units should be cleaned semi annually based on average polluted air. Evaporators/Air Handlers should be cleaned annually. About 30 years ago ASHRAE recommended cleaning evaporators/Air Handlers every 3-5 years.
Do I really save money choosing PCC’s patented process over others?
Yes, certainly. Mr. Dean Brown (Chief Engineer at CAPSTASR Commercial, Dallas) noticed a $15,000.00 energy cost reduction after PCCC cleaned only 2 large Air Handler Units.
What makes your patented equipment so special?
Using up to 10 times the amount of water flow at a low to medium pressure rate will flush all the debris (visible and invisible) out of the inside of your coil.
Why not using a High Pressure Washer or Garden Hose to clean my units?
Pressure Washers are designed to clean surfaces, not Condenser /Evaporator Units. Pressure Washers will only clean the surface of the coil; furthermore they push the debris even deeper inside your coils. Garden hoses are insufficient in pressure and volume.
Is PCC using chemicals during their cleaning process?
98% of the time, we do not. PCC’s patented system is very effective without polluting the environment.
How long does my unit have to be turned off during the cleaning process?
Depending on tonnage, debris built-up inside coil and setting up the coil cleaning equipment, a 20 ton Condenser Unit takes only several minutes to be cleaned.
We do not charge by the hour. Our pricing is based on unit size, unit style (v-coils, underneath coil, straight coil) and difficulties.
